From Finland to the Forefront of American Architecture, The Journey of Eliel and Eero Saarinen


Ed Gunneson is Chairman of Vasa Lodge Linne 429 in New Providence NJ. He is also an artist and graphic designer with an undergraduate degree from University of Bridgeport and a graduate degree from Pratt institute, but he is most proud of his experience at Östra Grevie Folkhögskola in Vellinge, Sweden, where he acquired a working knowledge of the Swedish language. His presentations focus on the intersection of Nordic and American culture.

Scandinavian Geneaology: Lecture by Kristina O'Doherty


Kristina Johnson O'Doherty graduated from Millersville State College (University) with a degree in Elementary Education and earned a Masters degree in Counseling from Villanova University. She is a graduate of The FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. In 2003 Kristina retired from the FBI after 23 years of service as a Special Agent. She currently volunteers at the American Swedish Historical Museum and for the Emergency Aid of PA Foundation. Kristina lives in Blue Bell, PA with her husband, John.
