House of Hamill (Duo)

The award-winning Pennsylvania-based band House of Hamill will be performing as a duo at this year's ScanFest. Their traditional folk ballads in harmony will be on display, accompanied by amusing stories from the road.

SmörgåsBandet

The SmorgasBand is a high-energy accordion band from Long Island, NY, bringing joyful, interactive music to events across the tri-state area and beyond. Whether it's leading custom singalongs, getting guests dancing with audience participation, or roaming with mobile tunes, The SmorgasBand delivers a festive, unforgettable experience wherever the party takes them.

Anders Lundegård with Monika Mockovčáková

Anders Lundegård and Monika Mockovčáková will be performing Scandinavian-style Jazz music.Anders Lundegård was born and bred in Växjö, Sweden. This mid-sized town is surrounded by deep pine forests in the middle of Sweden.Monika Mockovčáková is a Slovak pianist began her piano studies at age six and at the age of thirteen she won the National Music Competition of former Czechoslovakia.

Songs from the Nordic Folk Tradition

Hanne Ladefoged-Dollase is a Danish born performer who celebrates Nordic songs with pathos and humor. Herself and Krista Sweer will be performing Songs from the Nordic Folk Tradition.

Swedish Meatballs

Ellen and her eclectic accordion squeezing provides toe-tapping, foot- stomping delicious ethnic music! Ellen Lindstrom and her band "TheSwedish Meatballs" are all mixed together with different talented spicy musicians to create delicious music!

Oskar Stenmark

Yamaha Artist. Trumpet, Flugelhorn, Cornet player, OP-1, arranger/composer, educator, musical contractor.

The Barony of Settmour Swamp

These demonstrators are a local group of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) and they will be displaying Viking era Norse clothing, art, armor, and combat! Performing non-stop demonstrations all day in the combat field!

Spirit of Scandinavia

Ed Hendela and Wally Eriksson perform an impressive accordion ensemble music for listening and dancing.

The Daughters of Scandinavia

Susan Olsen Maren and Annelie Fahlstedt will be performing traditional Norwegian folk tunes on Hardanger Fiddles.

The Sloshbucklers

The Sloshbucklers are back and they will be in their encampment demonstrating Ax throwing!

Roger will be performing Hans Christian Andersen song at the Children's Stage

Leif Ericson Viking Ship

LEVS, Inc is a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to promote a realistic historic image of Viking people as merchants, navigators, shipbuilders, artists, explorers and warriors.

Pocono Mountain Forge

Jenny and Bill are the creators behind Pocono Mountains Forge. In 2013, they began forging outdoors in the woods of their family home in New Jersey. In the early years, they would often be found demonstrating their craft at historic houses and local events. This enabled them to grow their business. They now reside and have their workshop in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

John Miles Historian

John Miles is a retired U.S. Marine Officer turned historian & author who gives history presentations at group events and writes magazine articles & novels. His first novel, Magnus Saga, Beyond Vinland, is about a Viking exploring North America.

Bette Baumgardt - Hardanger

Bette Baumgardt will be demonstrating the craft of making Scandinavian Hardanger embroidery under our artisan tent.

Janet Doyle - Weaver

Demonstrating incredible Scandinavian Weaving.

Ann Marie Grunn - Lace Making

Ann Marie Grunn will be demonstrating Scandinavian lace-making under our artisan tent.

Susan McLellan Plaisted - Scandinavian Cooking Demo

Susan will be demonstrating a demo on Scandinavian cooking.
